Advertising of your slip for sale or rent is a courtesy offered at Sunset Shores Yacht Club (SSYC). While we endeavor to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the listings or information contained in the “Slips for Sale or Rent” area.

We reserve the right to discontinue this service at our own discretion and to change any aspect of our policy.

All of the slips at SSYC are individually managed by the shareholder. To inquire about renting or buying a slip, it is necessary to contact the shareholder that owns that share.

It is the responsibility of the shareholder to assure that any boat moored in SSYC does not impede the safe approach or departure of boats in adjacent slips. All shareholders are responsible for ensuring that renters and/or buyers complete all required paperwork per SSYC Bylaws and SSYC Club Association Rules (see Documents & Standards).

For Shareholders to advertise in the Slips for Sale or Rent area, SSYC asks for the following donation to help us cover the expenses of website maintenance and costs (SSYC is a non-profit organization):

* To add a listing to the Sale and/or Rent area… $20.00

* After 30 days, to change a listing in the Sale and/or Rent area… $20.00

* To remove a listing in the Sale and/or Rent area… No Charge

* After your slip is Rented, the Rent entry is removed to end repeated inquiries. The slip may be added again the following year for the normal $20.00 listing donation.

Updates to the Slips for Sale or Rent sections are performed at the discretion of the SSYC Webmaster and Board of Directors.  Both parties reserve the right to refuse any requests to update the Slips for Sale or Rent section for any reason.

The timing of updates to the Slips for Sale or Rent section is discretionary as our Webmaster is a volunteer and may not always be readily available to service the website. Every attempt to be timely will be made on accepted updates.
